Similar products available on the market locate their restriction point 6 inches in front of the rear wheel swing arm axle and below the transmission oil pan that places the restriction point below the swing arm plane of movement making the control of the torque induce movement much more difficult to control. In addition, the location of the restrictor lowers the ground clearance of your motorcycle causing significant limitations for making right hand turns, going over speed bumps or just using a lift jack. Keeping air-cooled engines running cool has always been a priority to maximize mechanical endurance and performance. This is why Ride-Str8’s product does not interfere with the transmission oil pan cooling ability. Other products available on the market require you to encapsulate the transmission oil pan trapping air between their product and the transmission oil pan. This trapped air acts as an insulator interfering with the cooling ability of the transmission.
An additional plus is that Ride-Str8 does not require any special frame straightening tools or special installation tools. All you need to do is follow the detail color pictures that come with our product. Installation can usually be accomplished in less than 2 hours.
